Why disappear the gloss of the paint?

What are the types of paint corrections?
Paint correction is a restoration procedure for which polishing pastes containing abrasives of various sizes are used.
There are two main types of paint correction, restoration polishing and buffing polishing.
Restoration polish - remove deep scratches, it almost becomes a polish of factory (with the exception of damage caused in the painting). Restorative polishing takes much longer than finishing polishing, as the action takes place in several stages, from the placement of polishing pastes from a larger abrasive to a smaller one.
Buffing polish - is softer than restoration polish but also restores the gloss of the paint, removing scratches and holograms.
Is it possible to damage the paintwork while polishing?
There is a risk if non-professionals will make this work. For car paint restoration it is essential to perform a mathematical calculation where the main value is the thickness of your car paintwork. Based on these data, the degree of impact, work preparation, circles and pastes and the selected polishing procedure will be calculated.

How long does the service last?
Much attention is paid to preparing the bodywork for polishing, so light polishing needs 1-2 days. Normally, it depends on the condition of the vehicle, the restoration polishing will take about 2-3 days.
